Duping bug

Hello my name is Tariq,

My ingame name is: duper much, and basically today i came on the server to check for bugs/ glitches i have been going around to other servers doing this aswell, when i have found them i have reported them to the highest member of staff available and when i came onto your server today i got half way through my check and i found that a commonly used duping glitch had not been patched so tele'd to home and told the moderator Grimreapa about the problem, at the time a co- owner was online but he was afk, when he came back from afk he jailed me and asked why i had been duping, so i had to explain all of the above ^^ to the co-owner but yet he said what i was doing is wrong and that he was going to ip ban me, so he did ip ban me and im posting on here to ask, how is what im doing wrong? becasue what i am doing checking servers for bugs/glitches that are commonly used and then telling the staff about the bug/ glitch so that it can be repaired and no other players can use them, so i stand by my question how is what im doing wrong?.

Thank you for your help, and no i dont have the username currently but once i am unbanned i could tell you when i see him, also just pointing out it was ipban so you would have to delete my name out of the files aswell for it to unip ban me.
